We bought another car today. We got a 1993 Ford Escort Wagon from our mechanic Doug’s Auto Tune & Service. He had it abailable and offered it to us since he knew that our old car was no longer worth repairing. We paid $2000 for it, not a bad price considering all the work that he had done to it for us. It has a new clutch, a fresh oil change, a complete tune up and new brakes all around. He even threw in a complete set of wipers front and rear for us.

this is from an email i received about my father:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi to all...

Steve was in the doctor's office today, and the doctor discovered that what was thought a couple of weeks ago to be a tumor a on his brain, and was later re-diagnosed as a reflection may in fact be a tumor after all. The doc also discovered a tumor on Steve's neck which is giving him considerable pain.

We continue to seek the Lord on Steve's behalf...and on behalf of Steve's best friend, Paulette.

The doctor has advised a different wheelchair, a special lift to help with movement, and in home hospice care for Steve.

I know the Father has been here before we arrived at this moment in time, and He is not surprised by any of this...Paulette and Steve need our prayers more than ever, let's not let them down, but instead carry them to the feet of Our Savior in this hour!!

Love to you all from Steve & Paulette!!

Kathleen

Steve Hospitalization

Greetings to all in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!
I have just returned home from the hospital, where Steve remains; Methodist Hospital, room #722.
The doctors have found a new mass in Steve's brain that is roughly the size of a golf ball.
They will be reviewing test results with the doctors tomorrow to determine a course of action.
It is time for us to again press through on Steve and Paulette's behalf. Steve's faith and confession remain strong...he will battle until he wins.
I urge all of you who can - to fast and pray, and encourage others to pray as well as we cry out together in this battle. Please let me know any day that you may be able to cover...again NO PRESSURE!! We need a fresh word and strategy.
I told you all in the beginning that I didn't know the best way to proceed on Steve's behalf...I still don't know. But God knows, and I believe that if we pray together, and share what we are hearing from the Lord, we will know what to do, and when to do it. His Word says that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. I know this is true in this circumstance as in so many others.
Love to you all from Steve and Paulette!
